THE WINGED LINER: Favourite Product & Tips
From loving a winged liner to actually being able to create the perfect wing is quite a challenge. No matter how many products you might try, it can always be quite difficult to achieve the perfect cat eye. To me, finding the right products was the first challenged to go through. I have tried eyeliner pens, liquid as well as gel liners and believe it or not I have always failed although I can definitely say that gel liner was always my favourite.
I have recently found a new favourite that I will know that will be on my top list for a while - the Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in 77 (Black). The best tool for this? The Zoeva 137 Winged Liner.

My Top 4 Everyday Lipsticks
Give me all the nude lipsticks and I will be a happy girl! I always opt for the safest options of them all on an everyday basis, specially when I am in a rush. Of course I do like a pop of colour, once in a while but these for lipsticks are my go-to's for when I go to work or simply get ready real quick to go to town but also even when I have a date night with my partner and know that we are going to be eating so I don't won't to worry about lipstick too much.
I have recently added some new lipsticks to my collection, all in the pinky/mauve-nude spectrum and I have been switching between them for my everyday makeup. They have become my favourite lipsticks that always look great, go with almost every makeup look and just never do me wrong.

The Spring Makeup Edit
It finally starts to feel a bit more like spring here in the UK and with an holiday booked to go to Portugal in May, I am starting to grab a bit more of colour. For the past few winter months I have been slaying the nude lips. Colour is something my lips haven't seen in a while (not even the famous autumn berry shades) and I am starting to miss it.
I am more than ready for a fresh, healthy, glowy face and bright lip. These are a few of the products I will be definitely be using on a regular basis to bring a bit of colour to my day.

The Highlighter I Can't Stop Wearing
This is probably the highlighter I was most excited to get my hands on since I've heard about it's release. Now the hype is long gone and I feel like I have worn it enough times to write something about this beautiful product here on the blog.
Anastasia Beverly Hills and Amrezy collaborated to create what is, for me, the most stunning highlighter I have ever worn. My favourite thing about it? How it suits any skin tone - and this is proved by the many reviews you find on YouTube, many of them that were shared by Amrezy herself on her Instastories or Snapchat. Isn't it great that someone can create such an universal product that would suit almost everyone? I am impressed!

5 Beauty Techniques I want to perfect
Makeup is one of my passions. The time where I am sat doing my makeup and getting ready is the most relaxing time for me and I do think that I got the hang of it and am quite alright with makeup techniques. Yet, there is always something that I would love to perfect, be better at or just simply be capable of doing it. There was always certain things with makeup that I tried to avoid because I just assumed I wasn't good at it but, in all fairness, practice makes perfect and that where this post comes in. I thought I would share some beauty techniques I want to perfect and hopefully, some of you my drop some tips or recommend some products in the comments bellow.

A Beauty Bay Haul
Hi guys, long time no see!
After a three weeks break back at home with my family and another week getting back to my work routine, I am back to my blog stronger than ever.
The wedding is just around the corner (4 months away, I can't believe it!) and so I have started getting slightly more anxious and also deciding a lot of details like what makeup I am going to wear. If you don't know I will be doing my own makeup and so I really wanted to find something that I loved and that was simple but at the same time very glam.
I didn't want anything too complicated as I will probably be very nervous on the day and I don't want to mess it up so I finally found a makeup look that I absolutely love and that although it does include a wing liner, I am considering passing that so it just doesn't get too stressful. Let me know if you are interested in a post where I can share different bridal makeup looks for inspiration and I will definitely do it!
So because I have finally decided on what makeup look to wear, I have started buying a lot of new products to trial and I know that they will probably last until the wedding date. So opened Beauty Bay and this crazy purchase happened. I won't even tell you how much I have spent but you can do the maths for yourself.

The Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer | A Review
I find that this year is the year of the makeup discoveries for me. I am trying out a lot of new products that are mostly from brands I have never tried before and this is one of them - the Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer. A primer and moisturiser all in one.
A lot of people were raving about it and loving it because it is just so practical as you can skip moisturiser and still have very nice, hydrated skin.
As you all may know by know, I have dry skin and finding products that help to fight that is a challenge so I couldn't wait to try this so when I traveled from Manchester to Madeira I grabbed it from the duty free shop and have been trying it ever since.

The Everyday Makeup Edit
My everyday makeup routine changes up more frequently than I would like but I am not mad at it. This past month and a half I have been trying a lot of new products that became my go-to for an everyday basis because not only I love how they make my skin look but also because they are mostly very affordable and for me that is key on an everyday makeup.
I do not want to be wearing a more expensive foundation or concealer on an everyday basis when I can have very similar results with more affordable products. I am the kind of person that will always opt for the more affordable, drugstore products for an everyday wear and leave the high end for special occasions, I am sure I am not the only one, right?

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation | A Review
Unless you are living under a rock, you have probably heard of the new NARS foundation - the one that will give you a super natural high coverage looking skin. Weird right? How can it look natural and give you such good coverage?
I am not the one to fall for very hyped products. Sometimes I think that it is all for nothing and most of the time it isn't as good as they say but after trying out the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation for the past few days, I have already made an opinion that I am ready to share.

Beauty Techniques I Want to Perfect
I am a true makeup lover and I might go as far as to say that I am a makeup addict. Yet, it isn't because of that that I am a pro on everything that comes to beauty and makeup techniques.
There is always something that I want to master or perfect and I have been thinking a lot about that lately, specially after deciding that I was going to do my own wedding makeup.
So here I am sharing with you techniques I really want to improve during the next few months or this year of 2018. It would be great if you could share either some tips and tricks or products that you recommend that really help with getting a great result and making the job a bit easier!

Creating the Perfect Canvas with L'Óreal Paris
I can never stress enough the importance of looking after your skin. It is what will make your foundation sit and last beautifully on the skin. It does not matter if you buy the most expensive foundation if the canvas you are working on is full of texture, dry patches, etc.
So skin care is a really important thing as well as using the correct primer for the type of skin you have/problematic areas you want to cover.
My major problem is dry skin, along with slightly large pores so I tend to go for very moisturising products and, at times, illuminating primers.
I have noticed that mixing primers sometimes doesn't work quite well unless you just apply them to the designated areas - for example, my large pores are focused on my T zone and the dryness is around my face so I apply different primers to those two areas if I want to be a bit extra.
On a daily basis I want something more practical and that truly moisturises, illuminates and smoothens my skin and this is where these two new products come really handy.

The Ordinary | New In Skin Care
Skin care is a tricky subject around here. I was never the kind of person to look after my skin until not very long ago. I would do the bare minimum and expect my skin to look perfect. Guess what - it wasn't happening. It didn't take me long to realize that I needed to look after my skin properly as soon as I could and I have been doing so for about four years now.
Have I been really strict with it and following every step every day without missing anything? Hell no. But I am trying.
The problem here is that I see myself wanting to try all the new stuff, new moisturizers, face masks and recently serums. Who would have thought that serums can do such magic?
Also, with the wedding date coming closer, I want to have a perfect skin care regime that gives me healthy looking, glowing, smooth skin and so I do have to experiment and try new products.
After reading a lot of bloggers raving about The Ordinary skin care products, I couldn't help but to try them and as for a start I bought a moisturizer, serum and primer and this is where I fell in love with this brand.

A Zoeva Kind of Look | New In

As you may have read on my previous post, I recently bought some new makeup from Zoeva and thought what better way to share with you guys my thoughts on the products than by doing a sort of makeup tutorial? The whole aim was to do a video for Instagram but I thought it would fit perfectly on this blog post where I wanted to review all the products for you.
I have tried Zoeva products previously and I still own a couple of things from them. It is definitely an amazing brand with such great variety of products and also within an affordable price range.
This look is completely different than what I normally go for, I assure you it was very hard to get away from the golds. Instead, I used a beautiful rusty copper to create another halo eye and it turned out quite good, in my opinion! It is indeed more of night-time look but still gorgeous.

A Cult Beauty Haul
Online shopping has to be one of my favourite ways of shopping. Who wants to go out, mix with the crowd at those busy, horrible times where everything in the shops is upside down? Not this girl over here. That is one of the reasons I hate going to town during weekend. It is just too busy, too messy and I don't have one bit of motivation to do any shopping at all. And although I do enjoy buying clothes online, beauty is something a bit different. I love swatching, feeling for the product, having a look at the packaging and just browsing all the products for hours. Yet, there is one exception to that rule and that is Cult Beauty.

The Perfect Mauve Halo Eye with the Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette | A Review
Makeup is one of my passions. I can be doing my makeup for hours, taking my time with every little detail whilst watching some videos or listening some really nice music. There are days that even though I am not going anywhere I fee like playing around with makeup and seeing where things go - and that is what this post is about - a look that a did on a day I felt in the mood to play with makeup.
It is so easy to always go for a "go-to makeup look" when we have somewhere to go because we know it will look nice and that we like it. I always go for a bronzed smokey eye and sometimes it gets boring.
Having this time to play around with the palettes I have helps me be a little bit more creative and will give me many more options when I am getting ready in a rush.
This time, I decided to play around with the BH Cosmetic x Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and this is the look I came up with - a beautiful mauve halo eye that I find to be perfect for Valentine's Day that is just around the corner.
